Former SUTURE Guitarist Launches BLACKEND CAJUN VOODOO RECORDS
March 27, 2006Former SUTURE and current BASTARD SON guitarist Lance Strickland has formed a new record company called Blackend Cajun Voodoo Records. The first two acts to be signed to the label are Florida's SWAMP GAS and Louisiana's ENEMY BREED. In addition, Blackend Cajun Voodoo will be releasing the new album from BASTARD SON as well as the "Southern Hostility" compilation featuring many "killer" bands from the South.
"Our goal is to make the world see that the South has kick-ass metal and help bands to get their name out to shop to bigger labels," reads a posting on the label's MySpace.com page. "We don't fuck our bands by binding them to long-term contracts. We offer one-album deals with a second album option that must be agreed upon by band and label."
